Roundtree Automotive Group LLC, formed in 1985, is the holding company for a “chain” of automotive related companies.
As with many successful groups, Roundtree made several strategic divestitures during the recent economic downturn that proved to strengthen its core foundation enabling the company to seize upon key economic opportunities now and in the future.
At present
Roundtree is made up of 5 dealerships: Rountree Ford Lincoln in Shreveport,
La., the #1 Ford dealer in the Ark-La-Tex corridor for several years running,
Freedom Chevrolet Buick GMC in Dallas, TX, ranked #35 in nation for General
Motors for 2010; Clear Lake Nissan, one of the top Nissan Dealerships in
Houston, TX; Mark Dodge, the primary Dodge Dealership in Mobile, AL; and our
newest acquisition, Southern Ford in Manvel, TX.
Roundtree has been awarded two “open points” in the Dallas metro area; Freedom Chrysler Dodge Jeep will open July 1, 2011 and Love Field Chrysler Dodge Jeep will open in summer of 2012.
Roundtree's current strategic market focus is the Dallas-Ft Worth and Houston metropolitan areas. Our personnel strategy is to promote from within or find those operators that closely identify with our entrepreneurial culture. Roundtree also prefers our General Manager candidates to be capital partners in our dealerships. We believe that this gives us the best chance to find and recruit the top people in the automotive business.
Today Roundtree Automotive Group represents various franchises in multiple states and has consistently ranked as one of the top 125 dealer groups in the United States. Roundtree maintains an efficient corporate staff with offices in Shreveport, LA and Dallas, TX.
